At the Museum

At the Museum of the Rockies
We recommend that you plan to visit MOR for at least 2 hours. Many visitors who arrive later in the day comment that they wish they had planned more time for seeing the exhibits. During the summer, when our Living History Farm is open to visitors, you may even want to plan a full day at the Museum.

Accessibility at MOR

Wheelchairs and strollers are available for public use. All restrooms and public areas are handicapped-accessible. If you know you will need special assistance, please don't hesitate to make advance arrangements by calling 406.994.6611.

Dining

The Museum does not offer a restaurant or café. We support and recommend local restaurants, several of which are located directly across the street from the Museum. We do have light snacks and beverages available for sale in our gift shop and vending machines on the lower level. We encourage visitors to bring a lunch and enjoy our Bair Plaza outside when the weather is nice.

For Kids

The Museum is extremely kid and family friendly, and we encourage guests of all ages! From our Children's Discovery Center on the upper level, to our Living History Farm and Dinosaur halls, we hope you'll find something for everyone. We strive to make MOR a place of life-long learning whether you're 5 or 95!
