Please mark your calendars for our next lecture, "The Discovery of Saturn's Largest Ring" by Dr. Anne Verbiscer of the University of Virginia on September 24th. See the Taylor Planetarium Events page for more information.

While it feels like fall in Bozeman, the astronomical calender doesn't turn to fall until September 23rd. However, many of our shows are changing before the seasons officially do. Make sure to catch our summer shows before the disappear!

The Museum of the Rockies summer schedule ends on Labor Day, which is the last day to see "Lewis and Clark and the High Frontier" and "Dinosaur Chronicles". After Labor Day, we will bring back "The Mars Show", with a new update and fun new pictures at the show's conclusion.

Sunday September 19th will see the last presentation of "Star Signs, Summer", and as the seasons turn over we will have our first "Star Signs, Fall" on Saturday September 25th.

The Taylor Planetarium is a 40-ft, 104-seat domed theater that provides a unique, immersive, education, and entertaining experience that inspires visitors to explore science and the world around us. Many in-house productions, such as “The Dinosaur Chronicles” and “Lewis & Clark and the High Frontier,” have run in other planetariums throughout the country, serving an even greater audience outside Montana.

The Taylor Planetarium uses a Evans and Sutherland Digistar Two digital planetarium projector.
