A "layer cake" of ecosystems, Greater Yellowstone comprises an enormous range of conditions for life. Relationships and interactions among these layers and their residents, both living and inorganic, are constantly churning, ever evolving.
The Museum of the Rockies' Greater Yellowstone Exhibit will examine what we know about life through the lens of real-time research occurring in and around Yellowstone National Park. This kid-friendly, full-body, multilevel experience will encourage learners of all ages to use the processes of science to explore life and all its meanings.
By creatively interpreting the unique science taking place in Greater Yellowstone, we hope to inspire a sense of discovery, to provoke the next question, and to foster in our audience a passion for understanding and preserving their world.
