Biography
The Museum of the Rockies has one of the largest collections of Triceratops in the world. Better yet, we have examples of many different growth stages of Triceratops – from babies through adults. This makes it very easy to study the dramatic changes that occurred throughout Triceratops’ development. My PhD research involves using everything we’ve discovered about how Triceratops grew up to learn something about its evolutionary history. That means that I get to spend a lot of time with Triceratops, either here at the MOR or in other museums across the country where I compare their specimens to ours. I also spend summers in eastern Montana’s Hell Creek Formation, looking for new specimens.
